Developed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Web Plus is a secure web-based application designed for use by physician’s offices, ambulatory care centers, and radiation treatment facilities. It is currently used for transmitting cancer case data to the New Jersey Cancer Registry (NJSCR).
Security is implemented through a combination of software features and network infrastructure. A user id and password will be provided to the user which needs to be reset after a specific time interval.
Per the Terms of Use and Confidentiality Agreement, it is strongly recommended that the client computers at the provider’s office be installed with anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
