John James Audubon's "The Birds of America" contains 435 life-size hand colored etchings, some of them researched and drawn in NJ. The Museum has 7 original edition prints in our Fine Art collection; "Fish Hawk" was on view recently in the Fine Feathered Friends exhibition and is one of the birds Audubon painted while here.
