Bicycle Lanes

Route NJ 23
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 23 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as bicycle lanes.  No vehicle other than a bicycle shall be permitted the use of said lane except for those vehicles loading or unloading passengers or materials in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-139.
1. In Sussex County:
i. In the Township of Wantage:
(1) Bicycle lanes, six feet in width, along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Lewisburg Road (County Route 565) and the southernmost Sussex Borough – Wantage Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 39.19 to 39.54).
(2) Bicycle lanes, six feet in width, along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the southernmost Sussex Borough – Wantage Township corporate line and 730 feet south of the southerly curb line of Wiebel Plaza (approximate mileposts 39.54 to 39.50).
(B) Between a point 260 feet south of Lower Unionville Road and the northerly curb line of Lewisburg Road (County Route 565) (approximate mileposts 39.46 to 39.19).
