Route US 46 Park and Ride
Certain parts of the NJ Transit facility known as the Route US 46 Park and Ride, located in the Township of Washington in Morris County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic within the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Along all ramps and roadways within the entire complex, except in designated areas and between the painted lines.
(b) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped Parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas as indicated on the site plan, during all hours.
(c) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets in the northbound direction:
(A) Along the U-turn ramp-driveway of the Route US 46 Park and Ride between Route US 46 eastbound and Route US 46 westbound.
(B) Along the bus loop driveway intersecting the U-turn ramp-driveway of the Route US 46 Park and Ride between Route US 46 eastbound and Route US 46 westbound.
(2) One-way streets in the counterclockwise direction:
(A) Along Loop Road for its entire length (beginning and ending at the intersection with the U-turn ramp-driveway).
(d) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Bus stops:
(A) Along the loop driveway intersecting the U-turn ramp driveway for its entire length.
(e) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated as stop intersections:
(1) Stop signs shall be installed:
(A) At the intersection of Loop Road and the U-turn ramp-driveway for traffic traveling along Loop Road.
(f) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as mid-block crosswalks:
(1) Mid-block crosswalks:
(A) Along the bus loop driveway beginning 88 feet east of the U-turn ramp-driveway and extending 10 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Along the bus loop driveway beginning 140 feet east of the U-turn ramp-driveway and extending 10 feet easterly therefrom.
(g) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection prohibit certain classes of vehicles as described below:
(1) Vehicles over five (5) tons gross vehicle weight are prohibited at all times:
(A) Along all ramps and roadways within the entire complex.
