Summit Downtown Park and Ride
Certain parts of the NJ Transit facility known as the Summit Downtown Park and Ride, located in the City of Summit in Union County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic within the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided within the park and ride.
(b) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Along all roadways and aisles for their entire lengths.
(c) The use of the certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection is hereby restricted to certain classes of vehicles as described:
(1) Vehicles over three (3) tons gross vehicle weight (GVW) excluded (including recreational vehicles, campers, boats or trailers):
(A) Along all roadways and aisles for their entire lengths.
(d) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped Parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas as indicated on the site plan, during all hours.
(e) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated as through streets, where stop signs are installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street except where yield signs are provided for in the designation:
(1) Through streets for both directions of traffic:
(A) Along Road “A” between Springfield Avenue and the prolongation of the east side property line.
(B) Along Road “B” for its entire length.
(f) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets in the counterclockwise direction:
(A) Along Aisle “C” for its entire length.
(g) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 15 MPH along all roadways and aisles within the entire complex.
(h) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “tow-away zones”, where any vehicle parked or standing may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense:
(1) Tow-Away Zones:
(A) Any vehicles parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard.
(i) The certain parts of the park and ride described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Bus stops:
(A) Along Aisle “C” for its entire length.
