Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 18
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 18 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “Emergency Stopping Only” zones where emergency stopping only is permitted pursuant to NJSA 39:4-138.1 except in areas specifically designated for parking.  “Emergency Stopping Only” is defined as a sudden, generally unexpected occurrence demanding immediate action, or when required to do so by any law enforcement officer.
1. In Monmouth County:
i. In the Township of Wall:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii. In the Township of Neptune:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii. In the Township of Ocean:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iv. In the Borough of Tinton Falls:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
v. In the Township of Colts Neck:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
vi. In the Township of Freehold:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
vii.  In the Township of Marlboro:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
2. In Middlesex County:
i.  In the Township of Old Bridge:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii.  In the Township of East Brunswick:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii.  In the City of New Brunswick:
(1) Emergency Stopping Only along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 18 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Monmouth County:
i.  In the Township of Wall:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
2. In Middlesex County:
i.  In the Township of Old Bridge:
(1) No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between Maple Street and a point 1,400 feet southerly therefrom.  (approximate mileposts 32.5 to 32.7)
(c) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 18 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Middlesex County:
i. In the Township of Old Bridge:
(1) Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Spring Valley Road - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Spring Valley Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Ferry Road - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Ferry Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(C) Maple Street - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Maple Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(D) Birch Street - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Birch Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(E) Pine Street - beginning at the southerly curb line of Pine Street and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(F) Pedestrian Bridge #160 - Beginning at the southerly curb line of the Pedestrian Bridge #160 and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(G) Ferris Road - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Ferris Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.
(2) Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Fox Borough Drive - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Fox Borough Drive and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.
(B) Pinetree Boulevard - Beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Pinetree Road and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.
(C) South Wood Drive - Beginning at the northerly curb line of South Wood Drive and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.
(3) Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Englishtown Road (CR 516) Overpass - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Englishtown Road (CR 516) Overpass and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(B) Farless Avenue - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Farless Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(C) South Wood Drive - Beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of South Wood Drive and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(D) Pine Street - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Pine Street and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.
(E) Birch Street - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Birch Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(F) Maple Street - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Maple Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(G) Pinetree Boulevard - Beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Ferry Road and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(H) Ferry Road - Beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Ferry Road and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
(4) Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Fox Borough Drive - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Fox Borough Drive and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.

(2) Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Rues Lane (County Route 617) – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Rues Lane (County Route 617) and extending 240 feet northerly therefrom.
(B) Racetrack Road – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Racetrack Road and extending 120 feet northerly therefrom.
(3) Mid-block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(4) Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(B) Between Paulus Boulevard and Commercial Avenue – Beginning 90 feet north of the northerly curb line of Paulus Boulevard and extending 140 feet northerly therefrom.
(3) Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Paulus Boulevard - Beginning at the southerly curb line of Paulus Boulevard and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.
