Route I-295 Scenic Overlook
Certain parts of the Route I-295 Scenic Overlooks, located in the Township of Hamilton in Mercer County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic within these scenic overlooks is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The certain parts of the scenic overlook described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing:
(A) Along all ramps and roadways within the scenic overlooks (northbound and southbound) at approximate mileposts 58.2 to 58.5, except in designated areas and between the painted lines.
(b) The certain parts of the scenic overlook described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped Parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas as indicated on the site plan, during all hours.
(c) The certain parts of the scenic overlook described in this subsection prohibit certain classes of vehicles as described below:
(1) Vehicles over five (5) tons GVW are prohibited at all times:
(A)  Along all ramps and roadways within the scenic overlooks (northbound and southbound) at approximate mileposts 58.2 to 58.5, except emergency vehicles and maintenance vehicles actually engaged in the inspection, maintenance, or reconstruction of the scenic overlook.
(d) The certain parts of the scenic overlook described in this subsection are prohibited from all persons during certain hours:
(1) No entrance to the scenic overlooks along both side between the hours of dusk and dawn:
(A) Along all ramps and roadways within the scenic overlooks (northbound and southbound) at approximate mileposts 58.2 to 58.5.
