Speed Limits For State Roads

Route NJ 208
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 208 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1. In Bergen  County:
i. In the Borough of Fair Lawn:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 55 MPH between the southerly intersection of Route NJ 4 (beginning of route) and the Fair Lawn Borough - Glen Rock Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 2.97); thence
ii. In the Borough of Glen Rock:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 55 MPH between the Fair Lawn Borough - Glen Rock Borough corporate line and the Glen Rock Borough - Hawthorne Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 2.97 to 3.54); thence
NOTE: See Passaic County below for speed limits from approximate mileposts 3.54 to 5.23.
iii. In the Township of Wyckoff:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 55 MPH between the Glen Rock Borough - Hawthorne Borough corporate line and the Wyckoff Township - Franklin Lakes Borough corporate line (approximate milepost 5.23 to 7.65); thence 
iv. In the Borough of Franklin Lakes:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 55 MPH between Wyckoff Township - Franklin Lakes Borough corporate line and the Franklin Lakes Borough - Oakland Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 7.65 to 9.83); thence
v. In the Borough of Oakland:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 55 MPH between the Franklin Lakes Borough - Oakland Borough corporate line and the northerly intersection of Route I-287 (end of route) (approximate mileposts 9.83 to 10.03); thence
2. In Passaic County:
i. In the Borough of Hawthorne:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 55 MPH between the Glen Rock Borough - Hawthorne Borough corporate line and the Hawthorne Borough- Wyckoff Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 3.54 to 5.23).
