Speed Limits For State Roads

Route NJ 63
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 63 described in this subsection are established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1. In Hudson County:
i.  In the Township of North Bergen:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the beginning of Route NJ 63 at the intersection of Hudson County Boulevard and the North Bergen Township - Fairview Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 0.08); thence
2. In Bergen County:
i. In the Borough of Fairview :
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the North Bergen - Fairview Borough and the Fairview Borough - Ridgefield Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 0.08 to 0.92); thence
ii. In the Borough of Ridgefield:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the Fairview Borough - Ridgefield Borough corporate line and Sunset Terrace (approximate mileposts 0.92 to 0.94); thence
(B) Zone 2: 35 MPH from Sunset Terrace to Elm Avenue (approximate mileposts 0.94 to 1.74); thence
(C) Zone 3: 40 MPH from Elm Avenue to the Ridgefield Borough - Fort Lee Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 1.74 to 1.90); thence
iii. In the Borough of Fort Lee:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the Ridgefield Borough - Fort Lee Borough corporate line and the Fort Lee Borough - Palisades Park Borough southerly corporate line (approximately mileposts 1.90 to 1.97); thence 
(B) Zone 2: 40 MPH between the Palisades Park Borough - Fort Lee Borough northerly corporate line and Route US 46 (end of route) (approximate mileposts 2.90 to 3.09); thence
iv. In the Borough of Palisades Park:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the Fort Lee Borough - Palisades Park Borough southerly corporate line to the Palisades Park Borough - Fort Lee Borough northerly corporate line (approximate mileposts 1.97 to 2.90).
