Various Regulations for Local Roads under State Jurisdiction

Terrace Avenue (CR 55) (vicinity of Route NJ 17)
Certain parts of the roadway known as Terrace Avenue (County Route 55) (vicinity of Route NJ 17), located in the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights in Bergen County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the roadway is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of Terrace Avenue (CR 55) described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 25 MPH between the Hasbrouck Heights Borough – City of Hackensack Corporate line and a point 1,150 feet south of the southerly curb line of the Route NJ 17 exit ramp to Terrace Avenue (County Route 55) southbound.
