[SRRA] LSRP Hot Topics a Remediation Funding Source and Financial Assurance

This is a reminder that there is still room available in the October 11th class for training on the important topic, RFS/FA process and requirements!! Registration information is listed below.

Thursday, October 11th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM in the DEP Public Hearing Room, Trenton (registration begins at 3:30 PM)

Program Description:
This session will provide the LSRP and other interested parties with an overview of the Remediation Funding Source (RFS) and Financial Assurance (FA) requirements. The following topics will be covered during the session:

  • Difference between RFS and FA
  • Forms and Model Documents
  • How to get funds disbursed from RFS
  • Surcharge information and Invoicing
  • Remediation Cost Review for RFS and FA
  • Process for going from RFS to FA
  • Getting RFS funds returned upon RAO
  • Using proceeds of sale to post RFS
  • Environmental opportunity zone and innovative remediation technology
  • Questions and Answers
