[EXTERNAL]: Electronic submittal of Response Action Outcomes to NJDEP email mailbox

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Site Remediation and Waste Management Program (SRWMP) would like to remind the regulated community and Licensed Site Remediation Professionals of the April 2, 2020 Listserv (https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/listserv_archives/2020/20200402_srra.html) which indicated that a dedicated email address, srp_submissions@dep.nj.gov, has been established for submission of forms, documents, and applications for which services through NJDEP Online currently do not exist. This email address should be used for those forms, documents, and applications that specify mailing to the Bureau of Case Assignment & Initial Notice, Site Remediation Program, NJ Department of Environmental Protection, 401-05H, PO Box 420, Trenton, NJ 08625-0420.

As many SRWMP staff are working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dedicated email address srp_submissions@dep.nj.gov is the preferred method of submission for Response Action Outcomes (RAO). At a minimum, the completed Cover/Certification Form, RAO Form, RAO Letter, and final Case Inventory Document (CID) should be attached to the email for RAO submissions. Any prior remedial phase documents and information concerning remediation that were previously submitted to the NJDEP in paper format and not submitted through a DEP Online service should also be included. Please note that forms, documents, and applications submitted through srp_submissions@dep.nj.gov have a maximum size limit of 25 MB. Documents larger than 25 MB should be split into smaller units and submitted separately and identified as part 1, 2, 3 or saved into a drop box and the retrieval information sent via an email to srp_submissions@dep.nj.gov. The subject line of the email must include the PI number.

A paper copy will not be required unless specifically requested by the NJDEP/SRWMP or for those documents outlined in the April 9, 2020 clarification listserv https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/listserv_archives/2020/20200409_srra.html.

Please contact the Bureau of Case Assignment and Initial Notice (BCAIN) at 609-292-2943 if there any questions on this issue.
