Guidelines for Amending BDA

The sites in a Brownfield Development Area can be amended by submission of the following:

1. A letter from the city and the Steering Committee  requesting the specific additions or deletion of sites from a BDA;
2. A revised BDA map identifying the new sites (or removal of sites);
3. An summary of why the addition or removal of sites is critical to the BDA;
4. An summary of why the sites were not originally included; and
5. A BDA Baseline Datasheet for each new site.

After evaluation of the information above, DEP will make a determination regarding your BDA modification request.
