The Continuing Education Committee of the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board is seeking feedback on its draft Continuing Education Recommendations and draft Approval Process. Toward that end, the Committee is holding an Open Forum on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the DEP Public Hearing Room at 401 East State Street in Trenton. The Committee encourages all interested parties to attend this meeting and provide comments and suggestions on these items. Following the Open Forum, the Committee will review the comments and prepare an updated proposal for Board discussion and approval. Some of the items addressed in the recommendations may be incorporated into the Board's proposed regulations going forward.

If you plan to attend the Open Forum, please email Karen Hershey at Karen.Hershey@dep.nj.gov to inform her that you will be participating. Recipients of this email are free to forward this information to others who may be interested in attending.

If you are unable to attend the Open Forum but wish to send written comments for consideration by the Continuing Education Committee, please email your thoughts and suggestions to Karen Hershey at the address above no later than September 6, 2011.
