[SRRA]: Report posted - cases granted extension to May 2014 deadline to complete remedial investigation The Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA; N.J.S.A. 58:10C-1 et seq.) was amended earlier this year to allow persons responsible for conducting the remediation of certain contaminated sites to apply for an extension to the statutory deadline for completing the remedial investigation of the site by May 7, 2014.
In accordance with SRRA, the Department has posted a report listing those sites that have been granted extensions for completing the
remedial investigation of a contaminated site. The report is available at The extension is only valid if the person responsible for conducting remediation initially met and remains in compliance with the qualification criteria set forth in SRRA. As the Department processes submitted information, a written revocation of the extension for non-compliance could be issued which would cause the entries on this list to change. Revocation of the extension may also cause the Department to undertake direct oversight of a remediation. |
