Training on Updates to the Immediate Environmental Concern (IEC) Technical Guidance and Real World Topics:

Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 4:00 to 5:30 in the DEP Public Hearing Room, 401 E. State Street, Trenton

Program Description:
Presenters will provide training on what's new in NJDEP's IEC Technical Guidance, how LSRPs should handle an IEC caused by an unknown/off-site source, discuss the requirements for IEC source control and explain when IEC oversight ends. Presenters will provide real world examples to show how to evaluate data and use multiple lines of evidence when evaluating potential IEC conditions. They will also present common problems they encounter on IEC cases.

In person attendance is limited, so registration for all attendees will be on a first come first served basis. The Department is awaiting the SRPLB's approval of 1.5 regulatory CECs for this training.
