[SRRA]: LSRP Licensing Exam Prerequisite Course being offered

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education will offer a course entitled "Case Study Training for LSRPs" on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

This course will satisfy the prerequisite course requirement in order to either take the next Licensing Exam OR qualify for Regulatory Continuing Education Credits. The course will not count for both.

This interactive one-day workshop will engage Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) and other environmental professionals to work through a typical Site Remediation Program (SRP) case starting with an ISRA triggering event, through all the phases of remediation (PA/SI/RI and RA), including applying for and implementing a remedial action permit and culminating in the issuance of an RAO. Please note attendance policy: No LSRP CECs will be awarded for attendees missing 45 minutes or more of class time.

Although the dates of the examination and the application period has not yet been set, the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board encourages anyone interested in taking the examination to take this pre-requisite course now, as the frequency of the course and exam could change. As a reminder, the course must be completed no more than three years prior to the submission of the application to sit for the exam.
