[SRRA]: LSRP Licensing Exam Prerequisite Course - October 4, 2017

The Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (the Board) is notifying those interested in sitting for the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) licensing exam in the next 3 years, of the upcoming exam prerequisite course.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education will hold "Case Study Training for LSRPs" on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is currently the only course that will satisfy the prerequisite requirement to sit for the Licensing Exam. (For already-licensed LSRPs, this course also qualifies for 7 Regulatory Continuing Education Credits. The course will not count for both.)

This interactive one-day workshop will engage LSRPs and other environmental professionals to work through a typical Site Remediation Program case.

Although the dates of the next Licensing Exam and the application period have not yet been set, the Board encourages anyone interested in taking the exam in the next 3 years to attend this prerequisite course, as the frequency of the course and exam could change. As a reminder, the course must be completed no more than three years prior to the submission of the application to sit for the exam. Updates on the date for the exam and the application period will be provided via this listserv and the Board's website (https://www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/; under Announcements banner on the right side of the screen).
