[SRRA]: Drinking Water Quality Institute (DWQI) Request for Public Input for 1,4-Dioxane

The Drinking Water Quality Institute (DWQI) was established (Title 58:12A-20) to make recommendations including the development of maximum contaminant levels (MCLs), development of appropriate testing techniques to measure MCLs, and testing frequencies for implementation by the Drinking Water Program of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The DWQI is currently developing an MCL recommendation for 1,4-Dioxane (CAS #123-91-1). As part of this effort, the DWQI is requesting submittal of data and information related to the following topics for 1,4-Dioxane:

• Health Effects: data or technical information concerning the toxicology, epidemiology, toxicokinetics, or other studies related to health effects that should be considered in the development of the MCL.
• Analytical Methods and Practical Quantitation Levels (PQL): data or technical information on analytical methods for drinking water and associated Practical Quantitation Levels.
• Treatment Methods: data or technical information on methods for treatment removal from drinking water.

Information will be accepted until 5:00 PM on January 20, 2019.
