LSRP Ethics Training session will be held on:
Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (check-in at 8:30 PM)
in the Rutgers EcoComplex Clean Energy Innovation Center, 1200 Florence-Columbus Rd. Bordentown, NJ.

Program Description:
This program is intended to advance LSRPs' understanding of the tenets of ethical conduct when providing professional services as an LSRP. It will afford attendees the unique opportunity to hear directly from Board members and staff, providing insight related to the Board's process for evaluating complaints made against LSRPs. Content will include the roles and responsibilities of the Board, the Department, Persons Responsible for Conducting Remediation and LSRPs and why a full understanding of these roles is essential to the success of the Site Remediation Program in New Jersey. Presenters will describe the relationship between ethics and the Standards of Professional Conduct found in the Site Remediation Reform Act and the Board Rules and how LSRPs must incorporate and apply these standards when conducting remediation. Other topics include the importance of good, timely communication between the LSRP and their client and the importance of applying scientifically supportable independent professional judgement throughout the remedial process. Finally, the Board will present past complaint dispositions and present hypothetical case studies to facilitate a discussion of LSRPs' conduct and compliance with the Site Remediation Reform Act and other applicable rules and requirements.
