[SRRA]: Invitation to September 23, 2019 Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board rule stakeholder meeting

Greetings!

The Rules Committee of the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board is seeking input from interested persons on potential revisions to the SRPL Board Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:26I). The rules are available on the Board's website at: https://www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/board/rules/njac7_26i.pdf

The Board invites your participation in a stakeholder meeting which will be held Monday September 23, 2019 at approximately 4:15 PM, following the open public meeting of the Board at 4:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the DEP Public Hearing Room, 401 East State Street, Trenton, N.J. 08625. After a brief, general discussion of areas in the rule the Board is considering updating, participants will be afforded an opportunity to provide ideas, suggestions, comments, and questions regarding revision of the SRPL Board Rules.

In addition to or in lieu of providing comments at the meeting, interested persons may provide written comments to SRPLBoardContact@dep.nj.gov by 4:00 PM on September 30, 2019.

Be advised that this first stakeholder outreach is independent of and will precede the formal public comment period that is required under the Administrative Procedures Act at N.J.S.A. 52:14B-1 et seq. upon publication of the full text of the proposed revisions to the SRPL Board Rules as a proposal in the New Jersey Register. The comments that are received through the stakeholder process may be considered by the Board, but the Board is not obligated to respond to comments received as part of this informal process.

Please feel free to share this invitation with other persons or groups who might be interested in providing input to revision of the SRPL Board Rules.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to SRPLBoardContact@dep.nj.gov.
