Subject | [EXTERNAL]: Revised "Termination of Deed Notice Form" available |
[EXTERNAL]: Revised "Termination of Deed Notice Form" available The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has revised the recently created Termination of Deed Notice Form by eliminating Section E (Person Filing the Deed Notice Termination) of the form. Information provided in Section E was often for an out-of-state recipient. The practice of mailing the original, signed Deed Notice Termination document, which must ultimately be filed within the appropriate New Jersey county, to an out-of-state recipient may result in this important document being mishandled or lost. The NJDEP, with Stakeholder input, has decided to remove this section from the form. The following statement has been added to Section B (Termination of Deed Notice) of the form: The hard copy of the original, signed Deed Notice Termination document will be mailed to the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) that is identified in Section K (LICENSED SITE REMEDIATION PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION AND STATEMENT) below. If you want this document returned to someone else instead, please specify in Section H (OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED) below. These changes will result in better handling of the original, signed Deed Notice Termination document so that it may be filed within the appropriate New Jersey county when ready. The revised form and instructions are available on the NJDEP's website at https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/. Questions regarding this revised form should be directed to the Bureau of Remedial Action Permitting at 609-984-2556. |
