[EXTERNAL]: Site Remediation and Waste Management Program's NJ-GeoWeb Site Remediation Profile Training The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP's) Site Remediation and Waste Management Program (SRWMP) will be providing a detailed training on the NJ-GeoWeb Site Remediation Profile Training. The virtual training will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM via GotoWebinar (see registration information below). SRWMP is offering training on the Site Remediation profile in NJ-GeoWeb. The Site Remediation profile in NJ-GeoWeb is a customized version of NJ-Geoweb specifically designed to allow users to interact with Site Remediation related GIS data, including, but not limited to, the Known Contaminated Site List (KCSL), Immediate Environmental Concerns (IECs), Institutional Controls (CEAs and Deed Notices) and Underground Storage Tank (UST) Facilities. This training session will highlight the basics of navigating the NJ-GeoWeb platform, using the various tools within the Site Remediation profile application, as well as accessing and exploring the various SRWMP centric GIS layers included within this application. Demonstrations provided during the training session will highlight areas in the remediation process that can be supported using this application, including preliminary assessments, receptor evaluations and public notifications. This training session is designed to help both the novice user to get up and running and the experienced user to get the most out of the Site Remediation profile in NJ-GeoWeb. Please be advised that attendees will not be able to follow along using the SRP Profile in NJ-GeoWeb during the training session as this may negatively impact the performance of the application. After the training session, the recording will be made available in a video format so that attendees can work through the material at their leisure using the SRP Profile in NJ-GeoWeb application. The presentation is being delivered remotely and will only be available virtually. NO in-person option for this training is offered at this time. The maximum number of individual participants supported by GoToWebinar for this training is 500. Please do not hesitate to register if you are interested. As the capacity for this platform does not exceed 500 participants, additional slots cannot be made available.
