[EXTERNAL]: Revised Response Action Outcome Guidance Document (Version 3.1) Available

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Department) has updated two sections of the Response Action Outcome Guidance Document and posted a new version (Version 3.1 November 2021).

In Section V.A.2.a (Response Action Outcome Variations, Limited Restricted Use RAO), the bullet referring to impact to ground water soil screening levels (IGWSSLs) and migration to ground water soil remediation standards (MGWSRSs) has been removed, as this language is not applicable to limited restricted use RAOs.

Section VI. (Issuing RAOs Involving Ground Water Remedies and Coordination with Remedial Action Permits) has been updated in its entirety, and references to technical impracticability have been removed.

Additional information regarding these changes can be found in the Change Log at https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/.

Version 3.1 of the Response Action Outcome Guidance Document should be used immediately.
