[EXTERNAL]: Reminder - LSRP requirement to notify when timeframes will not be met This is a reminder from the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (Board) to licensed site remediation professionals (LSRPs) that notification must be made to the Person Responsible for Conducting the Remediation (PRCR) that a regulatory timeframe will not be met, pursuant to the Regulations of the New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board, N.J.A.C. 7:26I-6.8(b), and notification must be made to both the PRCR and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Department) when a mandatory or expedited site-specific remediation timeframe will not be met, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:26I-6.8(c). A courtesy copy of the Board rules is available at www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/board/rules/njac7_26i.pdf. The notification to the Department must be made on the form "Notice of Failure to Comply with a Mandatory or Expedited Site-Specific Remediation Timeframe" available at www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/notice_to_comply_form.pdf?version_1_0. The submittal of a request to the Department for an extension to a timeframe using the "Remedial Timeframe Notification Form" (www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/rem_timeframe_notification.pdf?version_1_3) does NOT fulfill the notification requirement of N.J.A.C. 7:26I-6.8(c). Questions may be directed to Dana Haymes at SRPLBoardContact@dep.nj.gov or 609-984-3424. |
