The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has updated the Remedial Action Permit (RAP) applications/forms and instructions based on the updates made to the Soil RAP Guidance document. Significant changes/additions to the RAP applications/forms include the following:

  • a revised soil contaminant data table with the new Soil Remediation Standard designations on the Soil RAP Initial and Modification Applications;
  • a new question on the Soil Remediation Standards for the Migration to Ground Water exposure pathway on the Soil RAP Initial Application; and
  • change of the "Primary Responsibility for Permit Compliance" language in Sections D and E of all RAP Applications/forms to "Primary Contact for Permit Compliance."

The applications/forms and instructions, along with the change logs, are available at: https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/.

The revisions made to the applications/forms and instructions will be discussed at the June 7 Soil Remedial Action Permit Guidance document training (https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/listserv_archives/2022/2022_0509_srra.html).
