[EXTERNAL]: NJDOH's Potential Health Risks Associated with Exposures to Trichloroethylene in the Indoor Air fact sheet

The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) has a fact sheet entitled, "Potential Health Risks Associated with Exposures to Trichloroethylene (TCE) in the Indoor Air" available at: www.nj.gov/health/ceohs/documents/tce_factsheet.pdf. This fact sheet, published in 2016, provides general information on TCE and describes potential health impacts on a developing fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection recommends that this fact sheet be attached to the vapor intrusion sampling result letter when there is an exceedance of TCE in the indoor air and occupants of the building include women of childbearing age.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is dedicated to protecting New Jersey's environment and public health. The agency prioritizes addressing climate change, protecting New Jersey's water, revitalizing its communities and managing and promoting its natural and historic resources.
