[EXTERNAL]: LSRP Supplemental Certification for Initial Soil RAP Application is now available!

Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) is pleased to announce the availability of the LSRP Supplemental Certification for Initial Soil RAP Application. The form can be completed for a previously submitted Initial Soil RAP Application that is pending review or for a new Initial Soil RAP Application. The Certification Criteria, Section A, and Section B of the form must be completed in full by the retained Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP). Please note Section C is optional and should only be used for unique situations in which the LSRP believes that additional information is required to provide further justification of their independent professional judgment.

The form was developed through the Remediation Process Improvement Initiative commenced by the Department in 2023 to reduce the permit application backlog and to process Remedial Action Permit Applications more quickly. It is incumbent in completing this form that LSRPs provide accurate, certified information concerning the applicable sites, as the Department will rely upon that information. Critical to this process is the recognition that environmental laws and applicable regulations must be adhered to at all times, and that an LSRP's highest priority is protection of public health and safety and the environment, a duty which surpasses any assurances an LSRP has contracted with their client. CSRR strongly encourages LSRPs, working with the remediating party, to submit this form, allowing CSRR to expeditiously issue the permit based on the certification. This form is available in the Forms Library under Remedial Action Permits: https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/.

The LSRP Supplemental Certification for Initial Ground Water RAP Application is currently under development.
