[EXTERNAL]:Remedial Action Permit (RAP) Transfer/Change of Property Ownership Applications and RAP Modification Applications (Soil and Ground Water) for co-permittee address changes Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) is pleased to announce that RAP Transfer/Change of Property Ownership Applications and RAP Modification Applications (Soil and Ground Water) for co-permittee address changes are now being reviewed by the Bureau of Case Assignment & Initial Notice (BCAIN). The Financial Services Element reviews the financial assurance component, if applicable.
The Department will no longer create activities in its database for RAP Transfer/Change of Property Ownership Applications and RAP Modification Applications for address changes. The "Administrative Remedial Action Permit Application Approval Letter" will amend the last RAP issued by updating the co-permittee(s) that were listed on that RAP. This Approval Letter should be attached to the last RAP issued and be maintained as part of the environmental record for the site. Reminders: Questions regarding RAP Transfer/Change of Property Ownership Applications and RAP Modification Applications for address changes should be directed to BCAIN duty offer at 609-292-2943. Questions regarding all other types of RAP applications should continue to be directed to the Bureau of Remedial Action Permitting (BRAP) duty officer at 609-984-2990. The Department's receipt, processing, and approval status of the RAP Transfer/Change of Property Ownership Applications and RAP Modification Applications (Soil and Ground Water) for co-permittee address changes can be viewed in the "Case Tracking Tool by Selected PI Number" in DEP DataMiner. Status of the Financial Assurance may be tracked using the Active Remediation Funding Source Report in DEP DataMiner. |
