Naomi Mendelsohn, Esq.

Naomi Mendelsohn is an accomplished attorney with more than 20 years' experience in administrative law and civil litigation. Prior to joining the Commission, Naomi was a supervisory attorney at a federal agency where she oversaw a team of attorneys litigating in the United States District Courts and the Court of Appeals in the Ninth Circuit. Naomi also clerked for the former Chief Judge for the United States District Court of the District of New Jersey as well as a Magistrate Judge in the same district, and she spent several years in private practice at a boutique law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Naomi earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Rutgers University School of Law (Newark) and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was Phi Beta Kappa.

Outside of work Naomi enjoys running, cycling, hiking, baking and spending time with her husband, kids and rescue dog.
