NCI Surveillance Research Program Releases Latest SEER Data and Statistics. Welcome Cancer Statistics Explorer Network.
April 15, 2022 – Find the cancer statistic tool best suited to your needs. The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program’s, SEER*Explorer, provides cancer statistics from SEER data by race, gender, stage and cancer subtypes, covering 48% of the U.S. population. The National Childhood Cancer Registry’s, NCCR*Explorer provides childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer statistics from NCCR data, ages 0-39, covering 66% of the U.S. population, and using International Classification of Childhood Cancer (ICCC). $9 Million Contract from National Cancer Institute Awarded for NJ State Cancer Registry
New Brunswick, N.J., April 27, 2021 – The New Jersey State Cancer Registry (NJSCR), under the direction of the State Department of Health in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, has been awarded a seven-year, $9,085,109 contract (75N91021D00009) from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to support core infrastructure and research activities as part of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program.

Interactive Cancer Data
Cancer-Rates.info/NJ, New Jersey's official source for cancer statistics, provides cancer incidence and mortality data for New Jersey displayed in maps, tables, and graphs. Statewide and county-level cancer incidence data are available by cancer site, gender, race, and ethnicity.
Certification and Funding
Quality control is an integral part of the New Jersey State Cancer Registry (NJSCR). We review and evaluate the quality of our data through edit programs, and re-abstracting studies. We strive to improve data collection activities through targeted training programs. The North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) has granted the NJSCR its Gold Certification, the highest standard possible, for the quality of data since the inception of this standard.
