From 20th Century Studios, “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe. Filming took place in Asbury Park, Bayonne, Chatham, Denville, East Rutherford, Freehold, Harding, Jersey City, Montague, Montclair, Mountain Lakes, Newark, Orange, Rahway, Rockaway and Roseland.

Set in the music scene of the early 60s, A COMPLETE UNKNOWN follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician BOB DYLAN’s (Timothée Chalamet) meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts – his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation – culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Filming took place earlier this year throughout New Jersey.

    The New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission (NJMPTVC), which is part of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), announced today that sports comedy film ‘Happy Gilmore 2’, had a total qualified spend of $152.5 million during its total of 64 days of filming in the state. The Adam Sandler sequel, which premiered last month on Netflix, nearly 30 years after the original film, utilized the NJEDA’s Film and Digital Media Tax Credit Program.
