DEP Seminar: Mayor's Roundtable on Brownfield and Site Remediation Issues, June 16th, Trenton

DEP-PPG-Jersey City Settlement Agreement

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), the City of Jersey City and PPG Industries have scheduled a public meeting to discuss the DEP-PPG-Jersey City Settlement Agreement regarding remediation of chromium-contaminated sites. The public meeting will be held Monday, March 30, 2009 at 7:00 p.m at City Hall, located on 280 Grove Street, Jersey City, NJ.

NJDEP solicited public comments on the decision document during the public comment period that ran for 30 days from March 16, 2009 to April 15, 2009.

The Remediation of Contaminated Sites and Public Notification & Outreach, Adoption of New Rules and Amendments: N.J.A.C. 7:26C-10.4 and 7:26E-1.4, 1.11, 3.7, 4.1, 5.1, 8.2.
