[EXTERNAL]: Updated Historically Applied Pesticide Site Technical Guidance Document now available

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is pleased to announce that the Historically Applied Pesticide Technical Guidance Document has been revised from Version 3.0 (November 2018) to Version 3.1 (February 2022). Minor changes were made to the document including updated references to N.J.A.C. 7:26D Remediation Standards and an added explanation in Sections 5 and 9 of which Notice should be used in the Response Action Outcome (RAO) if historically applied pesticide remains on the site. These changes were made in an effort to be consistent with the Response Action Outcome Guidance Document that was updated November 2021. For a complete list of changes, please see the corresponding change log.

The updated guidance and change log can be found on the SRP Guidance Library (www.nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/). The previous version of this document can be found on the SRP Guidance Library Archive (www.nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/archive/).

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is dedicated to protecting New Jersey's environment and public health. The agency prioritizes addressing climate change, protecting New Jersey's water, revitalizing its communities and managing and promoting its natural and historic resources.
