The new New Street Bridge will provide a pedestrian walkway to the improved Boyd Park, as well as sufficient span to accommodate the increased number of lanes which will separate the local and express traffic passing through the corridor. A great deal of attention was paid to the aestethics of this structure which is evident in the architectural treatments of the abutments and the center pier. |
