Restricted Parking and Stopping


Route US 322

(a)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 322 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:

1.

In Gloucester County:

Note: State Highway Route US 322 is under Delaware River Port Authority jurisdiction from approximate mileposts 0.00 to 2.22.

Note: State Highway Route US 322 is under county (Gloucester County) jurisdiction from approximate mileposts 8.46 to 15.22.

Note: State Highway Route US 322 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 45 from approximate mileposts 10.82 to 11.21.

Note: State Highway Route US 322 is coincident with State Highway Route NJ 47 from approximate mileposts 17.84 to 18.25.

i. In the Township of Woolwich:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) Between Paulsboro-Swedesboro Road (County Route 653) and a point 1,155 feet easterly therefrom (railroad tracks) (approximate mileposts 6.24 to 6.47).

(B) Between a point 760 feet west of the westerly curb line of Hendrickson Mill Road and a point 700 feet east of the easterly curb line of Kings Highway (County Route 551), (approximate mileposts 6.75 to 7.02).

(2)

No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between a point 340 feet west of the westerly curb line of Paulsboro-Swedesboro Road (County Route 538) and the westerly curb line of Paulsboro-Swedesboro Road (County Route 538) (approximate mileposts 6.27 to 6.28).

(3)

No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:

(A) Between the westerly curb line of Paulsboro-Swedesboro Road (County Route 538) and a point 290 feet westerly therefrom (approximate mileposts 6.27 to 6.28).

ii. In the Township of Harrison:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) Between the southerly intersection of Route NJ 45 and a point 1,000 feet east of the bridge over Raccoon Creek at Mill Pond (approximate mileposts 10.85 to 11.44).

(B) Between a point 100 feet east of the easterly curb line of Barnsboro-Elmer Road (County Route 609) and a point 100 feet west of the westerly curb line County Route 55 (approximate mileposts 14.57 to 14.66).

(2)

No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:

(A) Between the easterly curb line of Route NJ 45 and a point 100 feet easterly therefrom (approximate mileposts 10.85 to 10.86).

iii. In the Borough of Glassboro:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 16.10 to 19.30).

iv. In the Township of Monroe:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

(B) Between Curtis Avenue and a point 100 feet east of the easterly curb line of Main Street (approximate mileposts 24.05 to 24.23).

In Atlantic County:

Note: State Highway Route US 322 is coincident with State Highway Route US 40 from approximate mileposts 50.26 to 64.32 (end of route).

i. In the Borough of Folsom:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) Between the easterly curb line of Cains Mill Road and Fourteenth Street (approximate mileposts 33.04 to 33.7).

(2)

No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between the easterly curb line of 8th Street and the westerly curb line of Lake Drive (approximate mileposts 36.71 to 37.18).

(b)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 322 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:

1.

In Gloucester County:

i. In the Borough of Glassboro:

(1)

Mid-block bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between a point 1,265 feet east of the easterly curb line of Boro Commons Drive and a point 135 feet easterly therefrom, towards Moore Avenue.

(2)

Mid-block bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:

(A) Between a point 5,055 feet west of the westerly curb line of Flanagan Lane and a point 135 feet westerly therefrom, towards Boro Commons Drive.

ii. In the Township of Monroe:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Justin Way and a point 105 feet westerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:

(A) Between the westerly curb line of Justin Way and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.

2.

In Atlantic County:

i. In the Township of Hamilton:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between the westerly curb line of Cherry lane and a point 105 feet westerly therefrom.

(B) Between the westerly curb line of Taminnen Road and a point 105 feet westerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between the easterly curb line of Weymouth Road and a point 100 feet easterly therefrom.

(B) Between the easterly curb line of Atlantic Cape Community College and a point 100 feet easterly therefrom.

(C) Between the easterly curb line of Cologne Avenue and a point 100 feet easterly therefrom.

(3)

Mid-block bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:

(A) Between a point 250 feet west of the westerly curb line of Leipzig Avenue and a point 135 feet westerly therefrom, towards Cologne Avenue.

(4)

Near side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:

(A) Between the easterly curb line of Taminnen Road and a point 105 feet easterly therefrom.

(5)

Far side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:

(A) Between the westerly curb line of Leipzig Avenue and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.

(B) Between the westerly curb line of Cologne Avenue and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.

(C) Between the westerly curb line of Weymouth Road and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.

(D) Between the westerly curb line of Cherry Lane and a point 100 feet westerly therefrom.
