Martin B. Danziger

Martin B. Danziger of Princeton was appointed to the Casino Control Commission by Governor Brendan T. Byrne and was one of the first four full-time commissioners sworn into office on August 28, 1980. He became Acting Chairman in 1981 following the retirement of Chairman Lordi on June 30.

Prior to joining the Commission, Danziger was a Washington attorney who had been with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service and previously with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

After departing the Commission on October 1, 1982, Danziger entered private practice. He died on July 12, 2002.
