Connecting Veterans with Opportunities

New Jersey provides career services for veterans.  The Commission partners with the American Legion to promote opportunites for veterans in the casino industry.

Veterans' Services

The Commission participates with public sector agencies and groups and non-profit organizations to provide veterans with information on assistance and available opportunities.  Event participants have included:

Casino Career Fair - 2024

The annual Casino Career Fair provides job seekers with a unique opportunity to gain career information and casino industry insight while networking with representatives from all nine casinos in one location!   
  
On-site veteran resources and services are provided in collaboration with the American Legion, the N.J. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other prominent veteran organizations. 
 
On-site resume services are provided by the N.J. Department of Labor.  
 
The 2024 Casino Career Fair has concluded but casinos hire year-round.

The Commission supports the Governor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide among Service Members, Veterans and Their Families (SMVF).  The Challenge is a call to action to collaborate, plan, and implement suicide prevention SMVF best practices and policies.  For information and resources, visit: https://www.nj.gov/military/savenjvets/
