If you are inquiring about the amount owed to the New Jersey Department of Corrections, driver's license restoration, tax return overpayment/Middle Class Rebate being held by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, or if you have filed bankruptcy, please refer to the list reflected below. The list reflected below outlines the documentation that is needed in order to complete your request. Upon receipt of the documentation, the Central Office Revenue Unit (CORU) will perform an audit of your account. The processing times to complete an audit is approximately 10-12 weeks and starts when ALL of the requested documentation is submitted to CORU.

****The Driver’s History Detail Report is a free report produced by the NJ Department of Motor Vehicle. Please do not send the Driver’s Abstract Report to CORU as this is the wrong report, and does not identify the specific indictment(s)/summons/complaint(s) that may be affecting your driver’s license. Please submit to CORU the Driver’s History Detail Report.
