New Jersey Department of Corrections

It is the duty of the boards of trustees to maintain general oversight and to advance long-range planning for the medical care, correctional, and training programs at correctional facilities. The boards meet on a quarterly basis to review institutional needs and to make recommendations conducive to a safe, secure, respectful, and operative environment for incarcerated persons.
