GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Township of Scotch Plains is a New Jersey Civil Service Jurisdiction.
Applicants must be a sworn law enforcement officer with a Civil Service Police Department (in good standing) and possess PTC certification.
Resumes will only be accepted from applicants who are PTC certified and employed by a NJ Civil Service Agency.
Per N.J.A.C. 4A:4-7.1A(b), intergovernmental transfers shall require the consent of the applicant's current employer.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
