SITE BACKGROUND INFORMATION/ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

"Area of concern" (AOC) means any existing or former location where hazardous substances, hazardous wastes, or pollutants are or were known or suspected to have been discharged, generated, manufactured, refined, transported, stored, handled, treated, disposed, or where hazardous substances, hazardous wastes, or pollutants have or may have migrated.

The Preliminary Assessment identified one potential area of environmental concern as follows:

AOC 1 - 0.2 acre parcel of currently vacant land was formerly residential and commercial.

No sampling has been performed in this potential area of environmental concern. Four test pits to evaluate the presence of historic fill have been proposed.
