[SRRA]: Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board announcements regarding the 2018 Licensing Exam, the LSRP Annual Fee, and Upcoming Renewals.

1. Licensing Examination - The Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (the Board) will hold the next licensing examination on Wednesday October 17, 2018, time and location to be determined. To sit for the licensing examination, individuals must submit a licensure application, which must be approved by the Board. The license application period will be from May 15, 2018 to July 15, 2018.

Please visit www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/board/licensure/lsrp_licensure_info_forms.html for the licensing examination application and instructions.

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:26I-2.4(a)5, applicants are required to complete a Board-approved course no more than three years prior to submission of the application, commonly called "Case Study Training for LSRPs." The Department is expected to hold this class in June of 2018. More information will be posted on the Department and Board website and will be provided via listserv when the course name, date and location is set.

2. LSRP Annual Licensing Fee - Invoices for the LSRP Annual License Fee have been sent to the current roster of 688 LSRPs. Payment was due January 15, 2018. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:26I-3.5(f), if payment is not made within 90 days of receipt of the Board's annual license fee invoice, an LSRP's license shall immediately expire. LSRPs who have not yet received an invoice should confirm that the Board has the correct address by emailing it to SRPLBoardContact@dep.nj.gov. Please note that changing contact information in NJDEP Online does not update DEP or the Board's licensure database.

3. 2018 License Renewals - Licenses held by a vast majority of LSRPs will expire in 2018. Please note that the requirements for renewing a license, outlined in N.J.A.C. 7:26I-2.11, must be met on or before the license renewal application due date, which is 90 days prior to your license expiration date. This means that all requirements must be met, all Continuing Education Credits must be earned, and the renewal application and all supporting documentation are due 90 days before the license expiration date. The license renewal application period is 90 to 120 days before the license expiration date. The Board will send renewal instructions to you in an email approximately two weeks before your renewal period begins.

The Board strongly recommends that LSRPs take the time now to note their own license expiration date and calculate the application due date in order to plan for license renewal requirements, especially the requirement to satisfy 36 Continuing Education Credits. LSRPs who have not met the renewal requirements will be notified of the Board's intent to deny their license renewal.

4. Ethics Course - Of the 36 Continuing Education Credits required for license renewal, the Board would like to highlight the importance of the 3 credits in Ethics Education. These credits must also be earned no later than 90 days before the license expiration date. LSRPs who have not met the Ethics requirements will be notified of the Board's intent to deny their license renewal.

There are currently two Board-approved Ethics courses. For a list of all approved courses go to www.nj.gov/lsrpboard/board/education/approved_continuing_education_courses_all_dates.pdf. For more information about a particular course, please contact the individuals listed under "Contact Information."

5. Change in the LSRP Contact Information - Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:26I-2.10(d), LSRPs are required to update any change in their contact information, whether home or business address, phone or email, within 15 days of the change. To do so, email updated contact information to SRPLBoardContact@dep.nj.gov.
