CDRW Forum: September 26 & 27

The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed's (CDRW) 12th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum will be held on September 26-27, 2024, in Bethlehem, Pa.

Network with over 300 watershed advocates, join field trips and participate in over 25 engaging and dynamic sessions, including from the DRBC! Staff will be leading a session on climate change and co-hosting a roundtable on the Delaware River Sojourn.

FUDR Rendezvous: October 16 & 17

The Friends of the Upper Delaware River (FUDR) is holding its Upper Delaware River Rendezvous on October 16-17, 2024, in Callicoon, N.Y.

Learn from experts about important issues facing the watershed, including DRBC staff, who will be leading a session on the emerging contaminant 6-PPDq. The Rendezvous will also offer the opportunity to network and connect with fellow conservation and watershed advocates.

NJAFM Conference: October 22 & 23

The New Jersey Association of Floodplain Managers (NJAFM) is holding its 19th Annual Conference October 22-24, 2024, in Atlantic City, N.J.

This year's theme is Partners in Progress: Floodplain Management in New Jersey, and attendees will hear from over 50 speakers highlighting the importance of partnerships and collaboration for successful hazard mitigation outcomes. DRBC staff will be leading a session on October 23 entitled Delaware River Basin Commission: A Regional Partnership to Manage Water Resources.

DRBC & EPA Climate Practitioners Workshop: October 28

The DRBC and EPA Region 3 are hosting a Climate Practitioners Workshop on October 28, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pa.

This event brings together tribal, state and local climate implementors and influencers, providing practical information about how to build and execute climate adaptation projects, while strengthening folks' networks to address climate impacts at the watershed scale. The workshop is free and open to the public. Attendees will learn real-world examples of planned or implemented climate adaptation projects representing scales that are urban, suburban and rural.
