Purpose: The goal of the New Jersey Charter Schools Grant Program Dissemination 6 Phase 1 Grant is to broaden the impact of charter school innovations and successful practices in order to improve student achievement statewide in New Jersey's public schools. The population served by this grant program consists of students in kindergarten through grade 12. It is expected that the projects selected for dissemination awards will promote high student academic achievement for all children, including those with special needs, and help them meet the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. Eligible applicants will be selected through a competitive process and who are charter schools that have been open at least 3 consecutive years, have not received a dissemination award in the past, are in good standing and not on probation and have met the criteria of 'High Quality'. This grant award is the first phase of a two phase program. Projects identified and further refined in Phase 1 that are deemed of sufficient merit will be eligible to apply for Phase 2 funding. Phase 1 will start October 1, 2014, and end February 28, 2015.

Eligible Agencies: Charter Schools open at least 3 consecutive years, not a previous recipient, in good standing, and meets the definition of Hight Quality.
