We are deeply saddened by the passing of former Governor Richard J. Codey, a dedicated public servant whose life was defined by compassion, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the people of New Jersey.

Throughout his career, he fought tirelessly to improve services, expand access to care, and reduce the stigma faced by those living with mental illness.
