Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
Recruitment & Placement
Overview
The Human Resources Office - Recruitment and Placement section provides support for recruitment and placement for federal technicians and Active Guard and Reserve (AGR), military technician compatibility, permanent change of station moves, pay setting, recruitment and retention allowances, and reduction-in-force.
Effective 1 April 2012, the National Guard was mandated to implement USA Staffing and announce all federal technician position vacancies in the New Jersey National Guard on USAJOBs.gov. USA JOBs is a web-based system that will simplify the staffing process and will also allow our applicants to maintain their resume' on file for one time or repeated use. The technician job announcements will remain displayed on the NJDMAVA website at nj.gov/military/admin/vacancy. Announcements are directly linked to USAJOBs - just click on the job position title and you can begin the application process.
If you have difficulty getting access to a computer, the Human Resources Office has two kiosk computers located in our employee relations section.
