With its tranquil surroundings, state of the art facility, and specialized staff, Veteran's Haven North boasts the perfect combination for a highly effective and efficient transitional housing program for homeless Veterans.
James Dolan, U.S. Navy
James Dolan is a United States Navy Veteran who was previously a resident at Veterans Haven North (VHN) in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. James was able to find an apartment with assistance through a voucher via the Bringing Veterans Home Program. James is now currently employed at VHN as a maintenance worker.

Richie Martin is a resident at Veterans Haven North and a United States Navy Veteran. Richie talks about his experience in the Navy and the circumstances that led him to receiving assistance at VHN.
Willie Clemson, U.S. Army
Veterans Haven North resident artist Willie Clemson, United States Army veteran, discovered his inner artist while living at the transitional home for veterans in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. His art adorns the walls of the Haven and the gallery is full of his work. Additional musical instruments haven been added to create a true place of Zen for the veterans that call the Haven home.
Holiday Express
Holiday Express visited Veterans Haven North playing music and providing catered dinner to the veterans that call the haven home. Music, dancing, food, and even a visit from Santa and Frosty capped off an amazing evening.
Donor Day 2023
On June 1, 2023, donors from across the state came together at Veterans Haven North to spend time with the Veterans that they help support. Scores of donors were recognized and the Veterans that benefited from their kindness spoke about the difference their donations made in their lives.

Gregory Newton is a resident at Veterans haven North and a United States Navy veteran. Gregory talks about his experiences at the Haven as well as his time in the military and plans for the future.
Samuel Roberts, U.S. Marine Corps
Mr. Sam Roberts is a current resident at Veteran’s Haven North. He was a United States Marine and struggling with housing and addiction. Sam tells us about how he overcame his challenges and took advantage of the assistance offered by Vet’s Haven North. He is currently working at the facility and assisting his fellow Veterans in their own journey back to solidarity.

Robert Mitchell, U.S. Navy
Robert Mitchell is a United States Navy Veteran who currently resides at Veterans Haven North (VHN) in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. Robert is working with the team at VHN to re-build his life and begin a new chapter. He has gainful employment and continues his path to recovery as well as financial independence.
Tara Starks, U.S. Army
Tara Starks is a United States Army Veteran residing at Veterans Haven North (VHN) in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. Tara is battling cancer as well as other health issues both physical and mental. The VHN team and Tara are working together to get her healthy and back on her feet. She hopes to be near her family here in New Jersey soon as she begins her next journey.
