New Jersey’s workforce system is an innovative and dynamic talent development engine fueling the state’s 21st Century success in a global economy. The SETC proudly partners with New Jersey Businesses to identify workforce needs and build a pipeline of skilled, qualified workers to fulfill those needs.

The SETC is led by Dennis M. Bone, Director, Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship at the School of Business at Montclair State University, and Commission membership includes business leaders from New Jersey’s key industries. The SETC is working with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) to create talent development strategies to address the specific needs of these industries. The development of these strategies will be informed by the efforts of new Talent Development Advisory Councils. These statewide groups bring together industry experts to provide industry intelligence and provide a forum for discussion of the current and future workforce in each sector.
