Department of Institutions & Agencies (Human Services) - Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital
The State Asylum for the Insane at Morristown was established in 1876 as New Jersey's second psychiatric hospital. In 1893, its name was changed to the New Jersey State Hospital at Morris Plains.
The name of the hospital was again changed, in 1925, to the New Jersey State Hospital at Greystone Park. It operates today as Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital.
